General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Taxi-Kurier 2000 GmbH

  1. Scope of application
    These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all passenger transportation services provided by Taxi-Kurier 2000 GmbH and, where applicable, freight transportation services. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer shall only be recognized if they have been confirmed by us in writing. By ordering a ride or entering the vehicle, the customer agrees to these GTC.
  2. Disclaimer
    The customer is responsible for ordering journeys in good time. Traffic-related delays, including those caused by accidents, are the responsibility of the customer. Taxi-Kurier 2000 GmbH shall only be liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability is limited to the legal requirements.
  3. Prices and terms of payment
    3.1 The prices include the statutory value added tax. The rates valid at the time of booking confirmation shall apply.
    3.2 Flat rates not listed in the price list can be agreed verbally or in writing and apply exclusively to the agreed date and duration of the rental. Overruns will be charged according to the valid price list.
    3.3 Delays for which Taxi-Kurier 2000 GmbH is not responsible shall be borne by the customer.
    3.4 The fare includes the transportation of persons with normal luggage. Bulky goods require a separate agreement.
  4. Payment modalities
    4.1 Outstanding amounts are to be paid to the driver immediately after the end of the journey in cash or by credit card. Invoicing is possible by prior arrangement.
    4.2 Payment shall be deemed to have been made on time as soon as the amount has been credited to our account without restriction. In the case of credit card payments, the amount shall not be deemed to have been paid until it has been received in full.
    4.3 In the event of late payment, interest on arrears of 5% p.a. and reminder fees of CHF 20.00 per reminder shall be due. The customer reserves the right to provide evidence of lower damages.
  5. Cancellations and withdrawal
    5.1 Cancellations must be sent to us in writing or by telephone. The date of receipt of the cancellation is decisive.
    5.2 Cancellation costs:
  • Up to 24 hours before departure: free of charge
  • Up to 12 hours in advance: 30 % of the basic price
  • Up to 3 hours in advance: 80 % of the basic price
  • Thereafter or in the event of no-show: 100% of the basic price
    3 Costs already incurred will be charged regardless of the time of cancellation. The customer can prove that no or less damage has occurred.
    5.4 Taxi-Kurier 2000 GmbH reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in the event of suspension of payments, bankruptcy, misuse or breach of contract by the customer.
  1. Compensation
    Compensation claims arise in particular for long journeys and only if the customer can be proven to have caused the costs.
  2. Promotional vouchers
    Promotional vouchers are not redeemable for cash. Only one voucher can be used per journey. Legal recourse is excluded.
  3. Severability clause
    Should any provision of these GTC be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its economic purpose.
  4. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
    Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Schaffhausen.
